Applications in the prescribed form are invited for Common Entrance test (CET) for selection of candidates for admission into two year Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) offered in Government District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) and in Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in the State during the academic years 2010 - 2011. 1. Academic Qualifications:
The candidates who have passed Intermediate Examination of Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or its equivalent examination recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh with 45% of marks are eligible. In case of SC, ST and Physically Challenged candidates with 40% of marks are eligible. Intermediate Vocational Course candidates are not eligible.
The candidates who have appeared for Intermediate Examination or its equivalent exam during March / April 2010 are also eligible to apply for DIET CET-2010 entrance examination subject to condition that they should produce their pass certificate at the time of admission counseling. The Candidates who studied SSC/Inter in the medium concerned (Telugu or Urdu or Tamil) or who studied Telugu or Urdu or Tamil as 1st Language in SSC or its equivalent or who studied as one of the above Languages in Part – II in Intermediate are eligible for the seats in concernedDIET CET Hall Ticket 2010 published on the http://www.schools9.com/ website.
