April 08, 2010: Malayalam film Janakan has been released on April 8. Starring Suresh Gopi, Biju Menon, Harishree Ashokan and others, the movie’s USP lies in superstar Mohanlal’s cameo. His role is that of a lawyer who saves Suresh Gopi and his friends from a murder charge.
Directed by NR Sanjeev, the film was originally supposed to release on April 1. Scripted by S N Swamy, the film will be distributed by Max Lab Entertainments.

Movie Review: The new malayalam movie Janakan ia all about a villager Viswanathan(Suresh Gopi) and his best friends (played by Biju Menon and Harisri Asokan). Viswanathan is a family man married to Nirmala (Kaveri) and he is the father of a college going girl (priya). Tnee new director NR Sanjeev has directed the movie. The movie als having Superstar Mohanlal, who makes a 20 minute cameo appearance as the brilliant criminal lawyer Soorya Narayanan. Due to certain situations Viswanathan and his friends get involved in a murder. They became the part of the most infamous killing that were in the front pages of newspapers for long. The movie goes through engaging situations as they comes over to Soorya Narayanan for help.
