Mani Ratnam’s latest movie ‘Raavan’ audio launch on April 24

Mani Ratnam’s latest magnum opus ‘Raavan’ is gearing up for its release later this summer. This trilingual which will be released Telugu, Tamil and Hindi has two sets of actors each for Hindi and Tamil versions.
The Telugu version will be the dubbed version of the Tamil version. While Vikram is playing the lead role in the Tamil version, Abhishek Bachchan is doing the lead role in the Hindi version. Aishwarya Rai is donning the lead actress role in both the versions.
Interestingly, Aishwarya Rai dubbed her own voice in Tamil for the first time in her career. The audio launch of the film is scheduled on April 24. A.R.Rahman has composed the music for the film. The rumour is that Mani Ratnam has written three different climax versions for the film although it’s not clear if all of them have been shot. Mani Ratnam is producing the film on his own banner ‘Madras Talkies’. Santosh Sivan and Manikandan are cranking the camera, while Sreekar Prasad is the editor.
