All the pre release hype and hoopla helped Varudu to break all the previous first day records of Allu Arjun. If the press statement from the production house is to be believed, Varudu has collected a whopping 7.28 crore gross on its release day. This beats the previous first day record of Arya 2, which is the best opening for Allu Arjun till date.
The aggressive campaigning for Varudu created lot of hype and the expectations raised to sky high made it one of the most awaited films of the season. We have to wait and see if this momentum stays the same for coming days or not. For now, Varudu has one record to boast off.
