Story: Pappu (Krishnudu) is the most unlucky fellow and is teased by every one always. He falls in love with his Boss’s daughter Radha (Deepika); she too works in the same office. Radha gets kidnapped and The Boss (Benerji) hires a Detective Ram (Subba Raju).Ram takes Pappu also along with him to find her. Is their Mission Successful?? What happens after that forms the rest.
Performances: Krishnudu does the same job what he has done in his earlier flicks, he is okay. Deepika is passable. Subba Raju is good. The story is a simple one and the screenplay is not tight. The narration is pretty slow. Music is below average with a melody number. Cinematography and editing is Okay. The direction is mediocre.
Analysis: This story is no way different from Krishnudu’s earlier flicks (as Hero). He repeated the same baby like expressions; you can find him doing some dances and fights this time. Deepika’s role is limited to a couple of scenes and songs. Subbaraju as Detective Ram was good. He has some fight sequences too. He should seriously think of picking some hero chances (at least meaty roles) here after. Uttej and Benerji are Okay in the supporting roles. Music is below Average. A song in the second half looked good on Screen. The Screenplay was weak; some scenes in the first half appeared dragged. The climax and the pre-Climax episodes were much stretched. The combination Scenes of
Subba Raju and Krishnudu evoked some laughter. The elephant – Giraffe- fridge question evoked some laughs in the theatre.
Movies of this genre need very tight Screenplay and the narration lacks pace. The Screenplay is weak. Some scenes got stretched a lot. The friendship thread between Krishnudu and Subba Raju was not established well. The Director failed in bringing right emotional feel in the climax.
The Movie is not a Full length laughing riot but makes you smile at some places.
Plus: Some fun filled Scenes
Minus: weak Screenplay, Narration
Verdict: Can be done better, you can catch it when it comes out as a DVD
Rating: 2.5/5.0
