VITEEE 2010 was held on 17 April, 2010. VITEEE 2010 is the engineering entrance examination for one of the premier engineering colleges in India - Vellore Institute of Technology(VIT).

Compared to last year’s statistics , this year 8,819 more number of students are taking up the examination, which shows the trust students all over the country has on VIT’s quality and standard. Results would be announced on May 8, 2010 in www.vit.ac.in, www.schools9.com, www.globalinfowings.com, www.indiaresults.com, www.minglebox.com Counselling for the first 3000 candidates will begin on June 2, for candidates with ranking 3,001 to 5,000, counseling would take place on June 4, students in ranks between 5,001 to 7,000 should attend the counselling on June 7, students in ranks between 7,001 to 9,000 should attend the counselling on June 9, students in ranks between 9,001 to 11,000 should attend the counseling on June 11 and finally from ranks 11,001 to 13,000 students are advised to come on June 14, 2010 to attend their counselling. Noting that high scoring students from poor economic background should not be deprived of quality education
